It was so great to see so many of you at MMC and I'm looking forward to spending time with you on Saturday at S/E. I wanted to make you aware of a couple of date changes that came out of the State Executive Board meeting on the 15th.
First - MS Solo and Ensemble for Fall 2022: we had requested 11/12. The State meeting was also scheduled for that day, so it was moved to 11/19.
Second (and third) - State S/E:
State S/E for 2022 was moved from 3/26 to 3/19.
State S/E for 2023 was moved from 3/25 to 3/18.
In 2022, for some reason there were 5, not the typical 4 weeks of District S/E scheduled. By eliminating the 5th week (which doesn't affect our dates), they were able to bump the 4 week window for B/O earlier, making State S/E one week earlier.
In 2023 there was an 'extra' week between the last week of District B/O and State S/E, so we eliminated that week and moved State S/E one week earlier.

Also, fingers crossed, our district email: dist.1@msboa.org should be updated and live sometime early this week. I'll send out a test email once I've heard that it's ready to go.
